In short, grammatical categories help us describe how a word behaves in grammar.

گرامر کی کیٹیگری سے مراد وہ خصوصیات ہوتی ہیں جو کسی لفظ کے بارے میں بتاتی ہیں کہ وہ جملے میں کس طرح استعمال ہو رہا ہے۔
مثلاً: زمانہ (tense)، واحد/جمع (number)، جنس (gender)، فاعل یا مفعول ہونا (case) وغیرہ۔
